Weider Germany GmbH the world leader in health, fitness, nutrition and body building supplements today announced the introduction of its flagship product ‘Hardcore Whey’ in India.

Announcing the introduction of Hardcore Whey in India, Mr. Sven Schade, Managing Director of Weider Germany GmbH, said “Currently, the market is growing at an average rate of 15 % per annum and is likely to grow at a faster rate from now because of the projected growth in adoption across age groups in India. Our core products have been well received by the Indian market so far and we believe that people in India will have more value added products with the introduction Hardcore Whey which is one of our flagship products.”

Hardcore Whey contains nutrients like fast-absorbing protein and an appropriate amount of fast-absorbing carbohydrates. These carbohydrates deliver energy for the workout and prevent valuable protein from being used as fuel.

Moreover, the “timed” carbohydrate supply leads to the release of the body’s most anabolic hormone: insulin. Insulin is responsible for protein transport into the muscle cell.

Whey protein is quickly absorbed into the muscles. Egg protein is added to supply the body with a high amount of essential amino acids; it contains the sulfurous amino acids.

Cysteine, among other things, is important for a strong immune system, which can be adversely affected by hard training. Hardcore Whey is free of ‘Gelatine’, ‘Aspartame’ and ‘Wheat Protein’.

Moreover, protein synthesis does not come to a halt if all essential amino acids are available. Protein synthesis describes the build-up of the body’s own protein (muscles). If it is disrupted or discontinued, muscle build-up is not possible.

Nutritional fats should not be consumed along with Hardcore Whey since these interfere with muscle build-up, and there is the risk of the build-up of fat mass instead of muscle mass.
