International Beauty Educators come to BKCCAD

Blossom Kochhar College of Creative Arts & Design, known for creating skilled industry professionals at par with international standards and imparting best training to its students continued its thrust to its commitment by bringing Global educators and trainers Joakim Roos- Artistic Director Intercoiffure Sweden, President OMC Club Sweden & Nayana Karunaratne- OMC Asia President & Gold Trainer, Founder of SLAHAB to the academy.

The six day International Certification workshop saw students and professionals from different cities learn the art of hairdressing and styling from the master educator. Joakim's workshop comprised of various creative and technical elements as students was taught about how to add depth and dimension through colour, create hairstyles for long and short hair, present a particular design and amalgamate things around to create a style. Singing Sensation Priyanka Goyat of Jimmy Choo fame specially graced the academy to get styled by Joakim and left highly impressed with his techniques and skills.

Addressing the students, Joakim said, “You have made a formidable and right professional choice and you are being given the best foundation in this academy. I have had the privilege of knowing Blossom for over 20 years now, her commitment to teaching and detailing is very much evident in the way the education is imparted in this academy”. Nayana further added, “I have conducted numerous workshops here and applaud the way BKCCAD trains and promotes its students”. Dr. Kochhar while talking about the workshop said, “I can vouch that Joakim is the best educator I have ever come across. By attending this workshop the students & professionals are ready to compete with the rest of the world”.

The workshop that ended on 12th October was mainly conducted to prepare students and professionals for worldwide competitions and equip them with international exposure and skills.
