Jattin Kochhar
Jattinn Kochhar is a New Delhi-based fashion designer. He launched his label at the age of 19, without a formal training in fashion. Jattinn's designs are primarily an amalgamation of ethnic with the chic. Simplicity with absolutely clean lines is a hallmark of his creations, which can be worn both casually as well as formally by just changing the accessories. He is India's first designer to be selected by the Australia Fashions Framework to showcase his creations on the Out of Australia world tour in 1993. He has participated as a guest designer for travelling fashion presentation around the world. From Bangkok, Colombo, Johannesburg, London, Sydney, Canberra, Rio and Sao Paulo, he also did some fashion shows in 1999 across Egypt, starting from Cairo, Aswan Luxor to Hurghada. He has exhibited his first painting exhibition in Egypt, and further on at the Casual Power House art gallery in Sydney. In India, he participates regularly in fashion weeks and has showcased his collections across Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore along with Mussorie, Bhopal, Surat, Baroda and Cochin. |
