Kavita Bhartia launched Ogaan in Hauz Khas Village in November 1989, making an evolution in Indian haute couture. Fusing the enigma of womanhood with an aesthetic of poetic futurism, comes a collection that evokes melodramatic, emotional and sensual responses. An assortment of treasured shades of grey, peach, lemongrass, vermillion and vanilla sets the backdrop for Kavita Bhartia’s new Spring Summer 09 collection “The New Romantic”. The silhouettes, fabricated in light weight cottons, silks, chiffons and georgettes inspire a nostalgic yet almost quirky mood that exudes femininity. The range continues to retain its signature philosophy which is to re-model age old techniques of embellishment and fuses it with International trends. |
