Q. How would you describe your journey till date?
A. Hahaha! I have just started of. I am still packing my bags and asking the routes for my journey to really begin. People around me are very humble, warm and supportive. It is because of this support that I push myself every single day, to meet their expectations.

Q. You modelled for Levis, Spykar, LG, Samsung, Tata, Docomo, Blackberry, Aircel, Airtel etc. With due respect to all the models, do you think models can act?
A. I am from Delhi! I did a lot of theatre in school. I remember taking part in an inter school festival, where I won the first prize for a one minute ad competition. It is from there that the scouts from National School of Drama picked me up for their special workshop, and that is when I got to know that no one can learn how to act, it is all natural. You can polish your acting skills in acting schools but no one can teach you from scratch.  I am now selected for the commercial print shoots and magazines as my face is expressive. I have done a lot of TVC’S too, which are shot on the same platform as films. And of course, John Abraham, who I know well, is an amazing actor, so yeah, I do think that models can make good actors.

Q. As we all know casting couch does exist; not only the girls, but the guys are also approached. What do you say?
A. Yeah! It is there, but let me tell you, it is just prevalent at the lowest levels of the industry and frankly these people are of no use. You should understand that if someone is seeing beyond your talent and is asking for such favours, then that person is not part of the talented and successful circuit of the industry. People, production houses that I have worked with never approached me to compromise. But sadly, yes it does exist.
. How important is it to show skin in front of the camera?
A. We Indians are very shy and emotional and I like it that way, as going to watch a film is still a family outing for us, Our films are like a little cabaret of sorts, because we try to relate to a 9 year old kid and a 90 year old lady in the same hall. So we have an           inter mix of a variety of elements in the same film. Nowadays, we do have deeply emotional, kissing and love scenes in many films, which were not seen earlier. However, I will stick to the universal answer to this question, which is that it totally depends on the script and the pay cheque (hahaha). Like Neha Dhupia once said, “Only two things sell in Bollywood, Sex and SRK !! I would rather let the ladies show skin, because I am a little too shy.

Q. The worst feedback anyone has ever given you?
A. Hahahaha! Well actually when I was on TV for the first time and my mother said that I looked like the Vodafone Pug!

Q. You have done considerable work for an outsider, who has come from Delhi to Mumbai. How did this happen in such a short time?
A. Honestly, even I do not know, but yes, I never sat home, ever since I shifted my base from Delhi to Mumbai. I was out everyday looking for auditions. I remember in the first month, I drank about 20 cups of coffee daily as I was meeting all these casting people for coffee, every single day. It is just that personally I don’t like to sit idle, My mom always says that I am like a volcano of energy. I have done shoots for Rs.500 to shoot with John Abraham and my recent TV commercial with Virat Kohli.
In just one and a half years in Mumbai, I have worked in 287 print ads; 89 hoardings;2 reality shows;18 magazines and movies ‘I am Kalam’ and now ‘Sabki Bajegi Band’. Hard work does pay!

Q. What kind of a girl are you looking forward to?
A. I am a momma’s boy. She has to be just like her, amazingly beautiful, talented and an intellectual,

Q. Tell us about your film ‘Sabki Bajegi Band’.
A. ‘Sabki Bajegi Band’ is going to shock the Bollywood film industry. It is the kind of film that you would watch again and again with your friends. It talks about sex, marriage, positions, kinks and fetish with a pinch of Bollywood in it. The film is hilarious and the response for our poster has been insane. It went viral the moment it was on Facebook.       I play "DK" in it, who is funny but with a lot of sarcasm and funny one-liners.

Q. Are you dating anyone at present?
 A. Nope! Safely single.

 Q. Any advice to the upcoming models?
A. Just go out there and work hard, irrespective of the outcome, because one fine day, it will pay off,

Q. What are your future plans?
A. This industry is very unpredictable, You never know what is in store for you. All I know is that I am doing what I like the most, and I love it. Let’s see what the future holds for me, but I definitely hope for many films.
