Fratelli Wines brings to you Humour Me’s Dinner for Pricks, a first of its kind musical theatre production, where live entertainment is showcased through the medium of film and stage. Humour Me, which is the new language and expression of entertainment, aims to re-define the concept of 'live entertainment' with tailor made entertainment delivered in the most unconventional places and at your door-step.

Fratelli Wines and Humour Me will showcase ‘Dinner for Pricks’ a complete experience of fine wine, dine and musical theatre at The Grand New Delhi, Vasant Kunj on 7th April 2013.


Look forward to a one of its kind production, where a French restaurant pops up for a night. Le Cigare Volant, the ultra-decadent restaurant in an up market New Delhi Hotel, plays host to the deluded chatter of the titular ‘pricks’ in “Dinner for Pricks”, a satirical theatre production poking fun at the high-strung elite of the city. Three tables in the restaurant, seating a motley crew of dysfunctional characters, see most of the action, as hilarity ensues, following abundant wine (of course).


If this sounds like something out of a movie or a play, that’s because it is,  and you’re invited to enjoy premium Fratelli Wines, sumptuous meal as well as be entertained! Casual jibes about loveless sex, debauchery, farcical ‘relationships’, and a mirage of pomposity dictate proceedings, setting the tone for a level of absurdity that captures the clueless vapidity of today. Of course, you are an inherent part of it as well: The fourth wall slowly melts away, with our eccentric waiter casually serving you food and drinks, and making light conversation as you enjoy your evening at the plush French restaurant.

The cast of 'Dinner for Pricks' includes illustrious names such as Kriti Pant, Vidushi Mehra, Karam Vir Lamba, Farhad Colabavala, Malika Dua, Shantanu Anam, Kavya Trehan and Charu Sachdev. Joining them is sound designer, Gaurav Chintamani and light designer, Priya Chintamani

ABOUT FRATELLI WINES:

‘Fratelli’ which translates to ‘Brothers’ in Italian is an Indo-Italian venture intended to bring the best of wines to the country. Collaboration between three families, the Secci brothers from Italy, Alessio and Andrea; the Sekhri brothers from Delhi, Gaurav and Kapil, and the Mohite-Patil brothers from Akluj, Ranjit Singh and Arjun Singh, intends to bring in Italian wine brewing tradition coupled with the favourable Indian cultivation terrains to the wine market.

Grown on a trench line of 330km with 350,000 samplings, the Fratelli Wines vineyards are planted with 12 different grape varieties on a combination of 240 acres of virgin land at Akluj, spread over three sites, Motewadi, Nimgaon and Garwad. Using the best of the industry plant and machinery houses, the vineyards are equipped with 58 multi-capacity tanks imported from Velo, Italy. The Winery also boasts a fully equipped high-tech laboratory for testing at each and every stage of the production process from grapes to finished product. With yields per acre restricted 1/4th of the industry average, the vinery ensures that only the best grapes are harvested and the quality of wine held sacrosanct.

In just in its second year of operation, the Fratelli Wines stable has achieved distinguished commendations for its varietals wherein the exclusive ‘Chardonnay 2011’ has been commended at the recently announced Decanter World Wine Awards 2012 and at the International Wine Challenge for 2012. Apart from the Chardonnay 2011, the varietals of ‘Sauvignon Blanc 2011’ and ‘Chenin Blanc 2011’, which had won itself a commendation by IWC last year as well, were also avidly commended at the International Wine Challenge 2012.

The second largest most distributed Indian domestic winery, Fratelli Wines after conducting exemplary business across the wine markets of Delhi, Maharashtra and Punjab, is now present in 12 states with 12 varietals on offer.
