India Fiesta Latina 2013 sweeps people off their feet!

Asia’s biggest three day Latin salsa dance festival 2013 held on April 12th-14th   came to a close at Jaypee Greens,  Atlantis Club, Greater Noida. The event was supported by Slice Entertainment and Mundo Latino and saw some of the leading instructors from four continents perform jaw dropping moves to spicy rhythms all night. Also, it was addressed by over 80 acclaimed artists across the globe, who exhibited awe inspiring performances. This festival was open for all age groups and facilitated ABCDS – Any Body Can Dance Salsa – Beginner’s pass for ‘no-dancers’ or ‘non-salseros’ including free 8 hours of salsa session, on all 3 days.

The dance festival unfolded many exciting events; the opening Friday night on April 12, 2013 was marked by a pre-party at striker and workshops, attended by 300 International guests. A red carpet was held on Saturday night on April 13, 2013, which saw a great mix of international and Indian dance lovers partying till morning. It was a true black tie event with astounding production values. The night came to an end with Rafael & Carine (world salsa champions from Brazil) and John and Milady (from Columbia) carrying out unbelievable tricks and lifts to mesmerise the audience. A Sunday afternoon Pool party was organised on April 14, 2013 with DJ Mauri and DJ Rummy playing non-stop music for over 800 people dancing in the pool. The afternoon saw some energetic performances by people starting from morning till night. Overall, it was a great event for all the dance lovers and music freaks who wished to learn and as well enjoy some candid moves with the best artists across the globe.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Sunil Chopra, event organiser and director, Slice entertainment and India Fiesta Latina said, “We always knew that this festival would be a great hit for all the people who enjoy dancing. The three day salsa dance festival proved to be a platform for many budding artists, who are passionate about dancing and seek opportunities to learn new forms of the same.
