Sonu Sood unveils new ride at Water Kingdom

Actor Sonu Sood inaugurated new ride called ‘Goofers Lagoon’ for kids at Water Kingdom in Mumbai. Children from the NGO Mobile Creches (underprivileged kids of the construction workers) and the company’s officials including CEO, Shirish Deshpande, Essel World and Water Kingdom were also presented at the event.

This ride has been conceived and designed with detailed research and development for achieving the maximum level of fun and enjoyment through the ride.

Water Kingdom currently has 24 rides in totality dedicated for family leisure and fun. Upbeat about the recent developments at the park, Shirish Deshpande, CEO, Essel World and Water Kingdom, said, “With the launch of this new ride, we are now confident that our valued patrons will be even more delighted by the new addition. We have continuously strived towards innovation and set benchmarks in parks dedicated to family entertainment and fun. It is indeed a proud moment to watch the park grow from strength to strength.”

The company has introduced seasonal attractions such as the Summer Carnival 09 at Essel World and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom at Water Kingdom on its 11th Anniversary Celebrations. The objective is to offer more and more entertaining solutions so that the promise of being a complete family getaway destination is fulfilled. 

“It has been a wonderful experience interacting with these children from Mobile Crèches, who are actually the first lucky kids to sample the ride. I am here to have fun with them and enjoy the new ride offering by Water Kingdom, ”commented Sonu Sood. The new ride will be an added feature to the existing initiatives.
