"Opportunities in fashion are numerous. India is witnessing a fashion revolution and things haven't been this good ever and there hasn't been a tie better than now to be there in fashion. So must say that it mustn't be surprising to see the Indian names appearing as big international names in this avenue. Opportunities wait for you too" says Mr. Chandrakant Dalal, Director, JD Institute of Fashion Technology.

This year's awards night theme would be "INKED"  that expresses the fine research on various subjects of body decoration arts, body piercing, tattooing, scarpation, to name a few and the event will mark the performance and talents of the players of fashion world "The Jediiians" to showcase the innovative and prolific designs. This year the institute will be flying in seven Russian models who will be modelling outfits of the students along with two male models. The aim of the event is that young fashion designers have access to a new media platform, as well as the opportunity to commercialize their collections.

Dating back to the history of the promoters an the pioneers of the fashion industry, JD Institute was established in 1988 in Mumbai by the lading and leading thunderbolts, Mr. Chandrakant Dalal and Mr. R.C Dalal. Within the storyline of 18 years, have earned a renowned name globally as running with top exporters, fashion houses, boutiques and many more…

Making a glance over to the plethora of exquisite designs displayed by Jediiians, they had done a mind-blowing job with the subjects too.

Geisha : Displayed unique body art decoration of the women trained in traditional arts of Japan as dance, music and singing, might be called as soft romantic collection for her first date. 

Hawaiian Kakau, Takzeem, Nizam, Rebels(the mafia collection),Irezumi,Hellovians,Henna and Mehandi do deserve their mention.

Among the notable jury members were Rocky S., Ms. Blanca, vandana Vadhera, Sylvie, Jaya Jaitely, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Gautam Vimani, Rohit Bal, Neha Kapur, satish Shikhar to name a few.
