Narendra Kumar’s fashion fantasy at Lakme Fashion Week

The Sunsilk and Narendra Kumar hair style and fashion fantasy at the Lakme Fashion Week, was one of the most exciting style presentations of the season.

To match the trendy hairstyles created by Global hair expert of Sunsilk from UK, Andrew Barton, which featured Curls, Straight and Layers; Narendra dreamt up his latest label "Nari Nari" aimed at the  trendy young women of the country.

The show divided into three segments started with cascading curls which Narendra matched with stylish cargoes in Lurex linen, specially designed graphic printed tops, denim high waist shorts and jeans, blousons, bubble will-power minis, a shirt waister and ended the segment with the sexy Kangana Ranaut-in a saffron shredded textured halter mini.

The Straight look was flattered with Narendra's low back bubble mini, draped jersey dresses, silk wrap ensemble, a one shoulder printed top, a green textured figure hugging number and a cross over front jacket and pants in green satin. Mughda Godse in a striking green Flapper dress was the beauty who ended this section.

Finally, for the layered look, Narendra set the ramp on fire with a pale pink draped mini, maroon asymmetric dress, will- power layered mini, showed a kimono style blouse with slim pants, a stylish rouched bodice dress and a sharply cut jacket with coated trousers. The show stopper was super star Priyanka Chopra who glided down the ramp in a wired hem mini in maroon shot silk.

Fabrics selected by Narendra ranged from linen, silk, georgette and taffeta for his silhouette options that moved from dresses, overalls, jackets, shorts and jeans. The specially designed footwear was futuristic and trendy to match the "Nari Nari" Label.

The thundering applause from the audience proved that the season is definitely set for some high octane fashion from head to toe by Sunsilk with their new styling products created by Jawed Habib Salon and Narendra Kumar's "Nari Nari" collection.
