‘Crafts of India’ to be the show-stopper at the grand finale show of Amazon India Fashion Week

The ramp at the Amazon India Fashion Week will burst in a kaleidoscope of red, orange & pink during the Special CelebrationGrand Finale  show of the Amazon India Fashion Week as 25 of India’s most talented designers bring to life the ‘Craft of India’. 

 

To celebrate the 25th edition  of the FDCI  Fashion Week, the Grand Finale will witness  for the first time 25 designers collaborating together to showcase their individual interpretations of the theme. The Special Celebration Grand Finale of the Amazon India Fashion Week Fall Winter will be hosted on the 29th of March at 9:15pm at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.    

 

The Grand Finale, hosted by Amazon India, curated  to  the theme of ‘Crafts of India’ , aims to bring to limelight the breadth-taking  richness and heritage of Indian craft. Each of the 25 designers will present two ensembles inspired by the rich crafts of India in tones of red, orange & pink and highlight them in a unique collective manner at the finale. 

 

Announcing the finale show, Vikas Purohit, Head Fashion, Amazon India said; “Indian craft finds its unique expression in almost every Indian home and runs like an admired and cherished thread through our sensibilities. We have decided to theme the Grand Finale on ‘Crafts of India’ because it resonates with each Indian. And when 25 of India’s most talented and creative minds collaborate together towards a single purpose, it can only result in something spectacularly innovative and creative – a true homage to Indian craftsmanship and a befitting culmination to the Amazon India Fashion Week.”
