Sonamparmarlaunches her latest collection at Amara

Young fashion designer, SonamParmarlaunched her latest collection, ‘Surreal Summer’ at the multi-designer fashion store, Amara. A beautiful evening of Fratelli wines, canapés, conversations and fashionable people, created the perfect setting for the upcoming designer’s creative venture into the city’s hip fashion scene.
Sonam’s signature style has oodles of fresh colours and an eccentric dose of bling. She also strongly believes in magic, fantasy and miracles. Her upcoming collection, Surreal Summer follows a similar ‘whimsical’ theme. The collection exhibits motifs of unusual animals wearing jewellery with long eyelashes and pride on their faces, all this in a pastel colour palette. Her collection includes crop tops, sets, summer skirts, shirt dress, boyfriend jackets, flowy open jackets, maxis and a lot more. In this collection, one will be able to see pigs wearing pearl necklaces, flamingoes that are flying, cupcakes with pearls and diamonds etc..
SonamParmar’s designs provide delightful company through day and night, prêt and couture, brunch or a red carpet charity gala. Every outfit of Sonam Parmer has a special touch of the colour ‘Pink’ and ‘Sequins’ to it. Her outfit isn’t complete without a diamond, which also is a part of her logo.
Sonam will be collaborating with an animal rescue team called “ResQ” from Pune. Around 10% of her each garment will be donated to them. Alongwith this she will be recycling her waste fabrics to make quilts etc for the needful. It will be shopping for a cause.
About SonamParmar: She is an upcoming fashion designer, who leaves a trail of glitter wherever she goes. Born and raised in Pune and trained at the School Of Fashion Technology (SOFT) located there, Sonam’s label can best be described as Live-Love-Sparkle. Hailing from a family who has a business of their own sewing machines and other products important for garment industry, Sonam grew with all the necessary information required to make an entire outfit. For her, designing is her better half.
SonamParmar launched the label with her first collection, ‘The Enchantress’, in September 2014.
