Mamtaa Gupta a Delhi based fashion designer has been creating innovative and functional ensembles for women for over a decade now, is all set to launch the perfect platform for make in India and Indian Startup Brands as part of Buzzaria Launch Pad. Her talents are undoubtedly God gifted; she has an imagination that can see designs in details, a heart that can fantasize pieces of art on clothes, decors and jewellery. This month Buzzaria launch pad have showcased four new brands namely Surmaa, Indricka, Falana Dhimkana, Nayi-Dagayi and two new collections in the store i.e. Bushra by Subhashini Ornamentals and Kuch Naya Purana by Handson. The brands are conceptualized considering different kinds of printing and preserving the planet.   

Talking about the Surmaa’s exclusive collection, it is easy to wear and breezy, which is suitable for all summer outings. The brand offers wide range of summer-wear collection inspired from different kinds of printing including screen, block ranging from ajrakh, dabu, kalamkari in vegetable and chemical dyes from regions all over India. Marina, designer Surmaa had started her career in women’s clothing line, 20 years back, She has been a manager with one of the eminent export houses and her intense passion for designing along with varied experience in all kinds of printing, embroideries and pattern making compelled her to bring out for the first time her own collection for the elite and discerning! Her dream came into reality under the mentorship of Mamtaa Gupta and Surmaa.

The designer collection of Indricka of Mumbai promotes usage of skin-friendly clothing. The unique collection is fabricated on organic and natural fabrics. The new range of Indricka is exclusively available at Buzzaria. Indricka believes in sustainable and 100% organic fashionand has ann amazing collections of dresses, palazzos, skirts, all in knits and T-shirts for men and women. And a fabulous range of super soft cotton kurtas and tops.

The most familiar and unique brand named Falana-Dhimkana consists of handmade home decor products most of which are up-cycled or re-purposed from waste/surplus material around the house. The whole new innovative collection is designed by Kanwal Narula and is exclusively available at Buzzaria. She has made each product with her own hands, truly handmade. A Chartered Accountant,  who quit and followed her passion, and here we have some out of the box lifestyle products to add to our homes and life.

Nayi Dagayi is yet another classy apparel brand, which offers a wide range of beautiful kurtas, palazzos and long tunics to beat the heat this summer. The kurtas and dresses are versatile with interesting details, trendy, and one would call them cool formal and party wear. The collection is majorly fabricated on rayon and laser georgette. The exquisite collection is exclusively buyable at Buzzaria. Narayani Singh, the woman behind Nayi Dagayi, took her first baby step in 1995,she began working with KUTIR, today, she has made the bold move of showcasing her outstanding talent.

Bushra Collection by Subhashini Ornamentals is designed by Akassh K Aggarwal. Shubhashini Ornamentals redefines the term adornment, where jewellery is given a new meaning. A brand which tries its best in non-stop innovation in jewellery designs. The collection resonates with the symbolism by using fine techniques in filigree motif, stamped lightweight metal sheet work, embossed flora n fauna motifs and vibrant metallic colors of gold & silver. The Bushra collection is exclusively available at Buzzaria. Bushra means Good News in Arabic.

Hands On by Buzzaria is a unique brand, which is conceptualized considering recycling and preservation of nature and saving Indian art and Craft. Hands on has come up with a fusion of fashionable and recyclable jewellery this time and therefore it is also known as “Kuch Naya Purana”. The material used in the collection is the fabric left overs, beads, threads, pompoms, shells¬ simple things used in an unusual way.
