Abhishek Bachchan curtly refuses to be flattered by being chosen as Asia’s sexiest man by a magazine. “I don’t even know what sexy means. These are appellations best not taken seriously. But, yes, I am deeply humbled and flattered because I have never ever thought of myself as anywhere near sexy. However, if people have voted for me, then I respect that. But I am certainly not going to suddenly acquire an extra swagger just because I have been called sexy.”  “From where I come, I have seen both the highs and the lows. It is temporary. And the trick of survival is not to take the trappings seriously. There is no guarantee for a tomorrow in show business. Admitted by my dad has proved to be a survivor, but they don’t make his kind of entertainers every day.”

Mallika Sherawat Ready to be ‘Unveiled’

Bollywood’s oomph girl Mallika Sherawat, who has signed for a woman-centric Hollywood film ‘Unveiled’ to be directed by Bill Bannerman, calls it ‘a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity’

“It’s a fantastic story - part thriller, part psychological drama, part film noir… It was so fast paced and exciting and so well written, I couldn’t put it down for a second,” said Mallika.

“And the icing on the cake was that it’s a story from the point of view of a woman — a woman who has relationships with three men from different continents, and she goes from an ultra-traditional Muslim environment to an ultra-liberal Western one. This is a script I could never say no to,” she added.

Bannerman is Clint Eastwood’s assistant director and has been honoured by the Director’s Guild of America as the best assistant director for “Unforgiven”, the film, which went on to win Oscar awards for best director and best film.

About casting the Indian actress, Bannerman said: “I was impressed by Mallika’s acting prowess in ‘Murder’ and knew by instinct that she will be able to do justice to the role perfectly.”

A+ A + A = Wedding of The Decade

Its been heard that Aish and  Bachchan Jr will get married in April. The venue of the much hyped match making well might be the Bachchans' family home of 'Prateeksha'. The wedding will be followed by receptions in Delhi and Mumbai.

In what is a sort of first for a Bollywood wedding, there are reports that the exclusive rights of the wedding have been sold to a foreign media house for an undisclosed sum of money.

The wedding itself will be a close-knit affair, to be attended by family and friends only, and there is speculation it could happen on April 18.
