Pia launches her SS’15 collection and Campari launches its 2015 calendar

Campari® delighted guests on a Sunday afternoon with the India launch of the international Campari calendar along with the unveiling of Pia Pauro's Spring Summer 2015 collection. 

 

‘Uniqueness, Passion, Internationality’, the three words that symbolise the Italian aperitif, Campari, are also a perfect way to describe resort wear designer Pia Pauro's  latest Italian collection which is inspired by the islands of Italy. Pia Pauro, who is internationally known for her resort wear previewed her Spring Summer 2015 collection, Panarea. Printed silks and hand-embroidered tunics, dresses, kaftans and accessories were showcased by top models in a garden setting. Said Pia, "Italy for me is one of the most romantic places in the world. The sky and sea merge into one in a vivid range of blue hues. The Italian lifestyle of Campari cocktails, sumptuous food and a relaxed way of life inspired me to design a collection which depicts the color and passion of Italy". 

 

Guests including, Pia Singh & Timmy Sarna, Ayesha Thapar, RohitBal, AD Singh, Malini&BinaRamani, GautamKalra, Archana Vijay, Ameeta Seth, DeepaSama amongst others, were seen enjoying Campari cocktails and the exquisite clothes designed by PiaPauro.

 

This year’s iconic Campari Calendar, entitled ‘Mythology Mixology', which stars the beautiful French born actress Eva Green, is the 16th edition in the collection and is dedicated to celebrating Campari’s unique and intriguing history and the intrinsic stories linked to twelve of its best-loved classic cocktails. The dreamlike imagery imaginatively depicts the beautiful and little-known anecdotes, tales and curiosities behind each iconic recipe. 

 

From the classic Negroni cocktail, created by Count Camillo Negroni himself in 1919, to the modern Campari Orange Passion, a contemporary spin on the classic Campari Orange, the Calendar explores and celebrates the recipes that have stood the test of time and are still adored in today’s modern world. The Campari Calendar, of which only 9,999 copies are printed, and is not retailed anywhere, is gifted to friends of Campari.
