Pallavi hails from the renowned Pink City – Jaipur. Its royal history, well entrenched art & craft and the city’s vibrant culture have all been a constant source of inspiration for her. She was determined to pursue a career that strikes a chord between her beautiful surroundings and fashion which led her to NIFT - Delhi. In her fledgling years she worked with designers and export houses that provided her the foundation to launch her own label Pallavi Jaipur in 2005.
The first year was spent developing the skill base and sourcing concepts. She then experimented through exhibitions in India and abroad and in the process got her self recognized by some leading fashion outlets in India. Her pent up desire to succeed in an extremely competitive fashion world fructified in her being selected at the LFW – S.S’09, and thereafter made her debut at the WLIFW- A/W ‘11
Pallavi's designs are synonymous with soft flows of georgettes, chiffons and satins intertwined with a mix of textured fabrics.
