The legendary world of the mythical Greek Gods of Mount Olympus, symbols of virtue and guardians of the arts, is the inspiration for the new Roberto Cavalli Eyewear collection, in which each model represents the meeting point between luxury and art, an extreme expression of beauty and creativity.

Each family, Aphrodite, Apollo, Hera, Artemis, Ephesus, Dionysus, Demeter, Hestia, and Poseidon, stands out for its own specific features, the result of the perfect fusion of jewellery craftsmanship and absolutely original technical skills.

From simple accessory, the pair of glasses thus becomes a fashion must, to be worn, or rather exhibited, as if a miniature work of art, indispensable for exuding an elegant and refined style through each specific detail.

This creativity is visible most clearly on the sides, the true stars of the collection: “button” decorations alternate with strass-covered monograms, floral or animalier patterns, and there are exclusive combinations of forms and materials.

Completing the collection is a men’s model – the Hermes family – whose front takes its inspiration from the 1970's, produced in metal with polished satin effect bas-relief detailing along the sides.

RC441S: Member of the “Aphrodite” family, dedicated to the goddess of love and beauty, these sunglasses immediately catch the eye for the sides formed from three buttons held together by winding circular snakes.Each button reproduces the Roberto Cavalli logo in bas-relief whilst the metal snakes, in gold, together with the front, give the entire frame a particular sheen.

RC445S: The most striking feature of these glasses inspired by Apollo - the god of the sun and statuesque beauty - is their double face detail. Just like a sun, the "button" between the two snakes rotates about itself, displaying the RC logo in relief on one side and an acetate detail, something of an elegant cameo, on the other.

RC455S: Just as Demeter is synonymous with agriculture, these frames evoke the rural word with their intricate leaf detailing: three concentric decorations in perforated metal illuminated with little bits of strass that connect the ample front with the sides in total harmony.The open-cut shape lens has a lightening effect on the frames.
