Anita Dongre launches new fashion brand

Leading Indian designer Anita Dongre unveiled her new line, ‘Timeless’ at the Dubai Fashion Fiesta.
Timeless is a new brand, which delves into the heritage of Indian textiles and draws inspiration from India’s rich and cultural eras. It is an occasion based, evening wear range that is inspired by both tradition and nature. The styling is classic and feminine.
Timeless uses traditional weaves and silks from master weavers all over the country and creates styles that are classic, feminine and eternal. Each piece holds heirloom value and can be passed on from one generation to another. Each ensemble has delicately hand crafted embroidery by master craftsmen.
Great detailing has been created in fabrics - brocades from Benares, Bandini from Rajasthan, plush velvet and hand woven silk. The colour palette for fall winter has bursts of red, royal blue, steely gray and black. Each ensemble whispers a story of great Indian heritage and culture.
Anita Dongre’s Timeless marks her progress from a prêt designer to couture and bridal wear. No doubt, soon Timeless will definitely be a one-stop destination for occasion wear.
