GOENKA DIAMONDS LAUNCHES NEW LUXURY WATCHES AT ARAAISH 2010

After having tasted success with its high-end and premium brand of jewellery collections, Goenka Diamonds and Jewels Ltd. launched its new range of luxury watches at Araaish 2010.
Watches are a status symbol and Goenka Diamonds having its expertise in high-end jewellery and diamonds has decided to foray into this segment. A new range of Swiss-made quartz with its dial bedded in minute white diamonds and studded with colourful diamonds on the external were just one of the attractions at the event.
“Our luxury watches which would be an extension of our highly successful jewellery brand, Ceres is meant for people in the higher-strata. We have a range of timepieces where you can choose to go for white or the classic yellow Gold, embed it with diamonds of your choice or choose from a range of rare stones and customise it. Part of the proceeds from this sale would also go to the ‘Save the Child foundation’ and Araaish,” said Mr. Nitin Goenka, Managing Director, Goenka Diamonds and Jewels Ltd.
Founded in 1988 by Late Mrs. Vipula Kadri to help underprivileged children and women Araaish is the fund raising arm of Save The Children India. It goes by the motto – ‘Glamour and Giving Go together’ Any donation made by the exhibitors attracts a tax rebate of 50% and Goenka Diamonds is one of the main exhibitors at the event.
The movement boasts of some well known public figures associated with it like Gauri Khan, Queeny Dhody, Avantika Birla, Priya Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol etc.
