Tara Sharma and Anita Dongre support breast feeding

Leading fashion designer Anita Dongre’s brainchild, Clay-The Wellness Centre is celebrating ‘Breast Feeding Week’ on the 1st of August. This year’s worldwide theme is Successful Breast Feeding Through Support.
Clay-The Wellness Centre is putting together a panel of doctors, which include Dr Deepak Ugra, who is a pediatrician and is affiliated with Lilavati hospital, Dr Rupali Kale, a pediatric dentist and Dr. Sonali Shivlani, who is the pre-post natal consultant at Clay. The discussion will be organized by Dr. Sonali Shivlani.
Supporting the cause, actress Tara Sharma, who has delivered a healthy baby three weeks back, said, “I am definitely a supporter of breast feeding and fortunately am really enjoying the process and bonding with our son but as I said I never like to force people into anything as different people may have different reasons why they can or can't breastfeed.”
There will be an interactive discussion on how successful breastfeeding ensures a healthy mom, healthy baby (toddler, child, adolescent, young adult) and in general, the entire life cycle.
The main aim is to make people aware of the advantages of breast feeding, which include the reduced risks of breast cancer for the mother and the girl child.
