Wrangler Flags off the True Wanderers
June 7, 2011 |
After a nationwide search for an adventurous pack of bikers, Wrangler has found its top ten True Wanderers and they are ready to take on the mean paths and terrains that await them. Each of the True Wanderers selected from thousands of entries received, was flagged off from a Wrangler store in their city and will go on a week-long journey on 3rd June 2011. From Delhi, one of the 10 short listed finalists is Wrangler True Wanderers Shamik Banerjee.
Shamik Banerjee was flagged off from the Wrangler store, south extension part in New Delhi. He loves motorcycles and is an avid fan of motor sports. He loves road trips, the Himalayas and his cameras. The zeal for adventure and road trip passion of both certainly caught the jury’s eye. Short listed by an online poll and validated by a panel of biking experts, the Delhi boy has been offered a ride of a lifetime by Wrangler. He will be given a pair of Wrangler jeans each, fuel, food, stay and a week to complete an exciting journey filled with new biking trails and unheard places.
Each rider will create his blog on www.truewanderers.com and update it daily during his ride with photos, videos and blogs about the day’s events and upload his road trip experiences. The rider will be riding in his respective zone and will decide his route plan in consultation with the panel of biking experts from xBHP, a popular biking community.
A panel of biking experts from xBHP would declare the winner based on the quality of content generated and the experiences shared by each rider on his blog as well as number of votes a contestant gets on his blog. The winner will be selected and gifted a Hyosung ST7 bike and featured in a Wrangler advertorial.
