Rinku Sobti, one of the coveted names in the Indian fashion industry has introduced her new collection of ‘hand 

 

knitted crochet designs with hand embroidery’ for, spring summer 2013. Her collection presents a unique mix of 

 

designs and colours for the season brought about by excellence in hand knit crochet and embroidery, which is 

 

attracting many fashion enthusiasts. 

 

Introducing the new collections, Rinku Sobti, founder designer of Rinku Sobti Fashions Pvt.Ltd said, “My 

 

Spring/Summer’13 line adheres to an abundance of colours, where each colour has its own significance. In the 

 

collection, the colour lilac reflects peace and tranquility. It suggests refinement along with grace and 

 

elegance. The lime green symbolises growth, harmony and fertility. The blue is associated with depth and 

stability so it reflects trust, loyalty, wisdom and heaven. The deep yellow is associated with joy, happiness, 

 

intellect and energy. It indicates honour and loyalty. The coral signifies vitality with endurance.”

 

She adds, “I have used an energy packed colour palette, to light up the coming summer. The collection comprises 

 

of evening gowns made in jersey with interesting drapes and our trademark 3-dimensional embroidery .The best 

 

part is that the collection incorporates contemporary gowns made in hand woven crochet in an array of patterns”.
