A perfect fusion of fashion, design and quality, the 45th India International Garment Fair has become one of the most important destinations for the global fashion connoisseurs and textile industry stalwarts. This unique fair offers an astounding collection of garments, fabrics and fashion accessories manufactured by some of India's premier fashion and export houses.
The ramp show highlighted exquisite, never seen creations, displayed in various colors and designs. With its eclectic designer collection to cater to a variety of tastes and requirements, the 45th IIGF is expected to surpass milestones set in the earlier editions.
The exhibitors were recognized by AEPC for creativity in their display as well, through the “Best Display Awards”. The Gold Trophy for best display was jointly awarded to Antak Agencies for accessories and to Churchit Inter for women’s wear; the Silver Trophy for best display was awarded to Tushar Handwork for men’s, children’s and women’s wear; the Bronze Trophy for best display was awarded to Silver Apparels.
Also, Certificates of Merit were awarded to JK International, New Delhi; Arvind Kumar & Company, Farrukhabad; Sarash Impex, Greater Noida; Kichwamaji Exporters, Delhi; Bittoo Overseas, Delhi and Nehal Exports.
The 45th IIGF was inaugurated yesterday by Smt. Rita Menon, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles. The 45th IIGF is being held at the India Exposition Centre, National Capital Region from 12th to 14th July 2010. The fair brings together some of the leading names in the fashion and apparel industry across the world.
