Jabra, a GN Netcom brand and one of the leading Bluetooth headset vendors worldwide, today announced the launch of Jabra EXTREME 2, a Bluetooth mono headset that puts an end to the notion that all headsets offering exceptional sound clarity and comfort come with a high price tag. As successor to the best selling Jabra EXTREME, which is renowned for its solid performance and quality features, Jabra EXTREME2 sports the same leading functionality, besides additional, new and advanced features, like next generation noise cancellation. This, combined with its convenience and superior design, makes managing calls easier than ever.
According to Ms. Ann Goh, Regional Sales Manager, GN Netcom, responsible for mobile products business in South East Asia, “Jabra EXTREME 2 combines Noise BlackoutTM 3.0 technology, the most advanced noise cancellation to-date, which blocks out an astonishing amount of background noise; with HD Voice, which enhances the sound quality of calls dramatically, allowing users to hear other person’s voice with unbelievable clarity. Automatic volume control instantly adjusts the headset’s volume to best suit the user’s environment, so that the natural sound of the voice is retained on every call. The new Voice Guidance feature communicates caller ID, battery level and communication status through the headset, as well as takes the user through the set-up and pairing process with ease.”
“For those who require a Bluetooth headset that can keep them connected for long hours, Jabra EXTREME 2 is designed for all-day wearing comfort. With a dual wearing style that provides the option of wearing the headset with or without an ear hook, users can select the fit that is just right for them. Ultimate Comfort EargelsTM mould to the ear for a perfect fit, eliminating the need to constantly fidget with the headset to keep it in place. Weighing merely 10.4 grams, it is not difficult to forget that the EXTREME 2 is in the ear,” adds Ann.
Perfect for the on-the-road lifestyle that many professionals lead today, the EXTREME 2 comes equipped with a portable car charger that doubles as a headset holder. The charger lugs directly into the 12V outlet and the headset simply plugs to it for a quick charge.
Jabra offers software upgrades to the headset through a USB connector so that users can enjoy the latest technology and features, ensuring they get the most out of their EXTREME2. It connects to 2 Bluetooth devices simultaneously with MultiUseTM technology. Not to forget its A2DP capability for streaming music, up to 5.5 hours of talk time and 10.5 days of standby time.
