EVEREST AWARDED AT THE 3RD CIDC VISHWAKARMA AWARDS 2011

At this glittering occasion, Everest Industries remarkably received a number of awards for their outstanding efforts in the Indian construction industry.
The award function commenced with the lighting up of the ceremonial lamp by the Guest of Honour followed by delegate speeches, which included the Chairman Emeritus, CIDC, Dr. Uddesh Kohli and Mr. D G Kadkade, Member of Jury. Luminaries such as Dr. K S Rao, Member of Parliament, Dr. Pronab Sen, Principal Adviser Planning Commission, Government of India and Dr. G.V. Ramakrishna, Former Chairman Dis-investment also addressed the gathering.
Everest Industries won the prestigious Social Responsibility Award by Mr. Pradip Kumar Mitra as well as The Artisan Category, which included awardees Mr. C.Prasadan, Coimbatore), Mr. Girish Chandra Dey, (Kolkata), Mr. Dhanraj Madhukar Patil (Nashik), Mr. Vegraj Kumar (Roorkee), Mr. Rajesh Tiwari (Roorkee), Mr. Krishna Sharma (Haridwar), Mr. S. Palanikumar (Coimbatore), Mr. Ram Lakhan Garg (Katni, M.P) and Mr. S. Murugesan (Coimbatore).
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Manish Sanghi, Managing Director, Everest Industries Limited stated, “We have been associated with construction industry for over 77 years and have constantly introduced new products in synergy with changing times. Starting from roofing products in 1934, today we have a complete portfolio of building solutions products. We have at the same time always taken our CSR responsibilities seriously. This award is recognition of our efforts of over 7 decades.”
