As the season of love arrives, we all spend a lot of time choosing the right clothes and accessories for the day dedicated to love.  Whether spending a day with the one you love, or hanging out with your favourite gang of girls, one needs to choose the look wisely on Valentine’s to feel her best. Valentine’s Day is the best day to experiment with one’s looks and to shine out like a star! So here are a few make-up tips to help you unravel your inner beauty…  

For eyes that lure him
For the evenings, one can go with smokey eyes look, chiseled cheeks and nude lips. Add a dash of gloss to complete this glamorous look. Depending on one’s outfit, the colour used to highlight the eyes should either be a dark chocolate brown or charcoal grey.  This look reflects boldness in one’s attitude, so for those who want to stand out, this is a must try. Tying one’s hair up in a loose bun/up do for this kind of a look is also recommended to compliment the glitter in one’s eyes.

For a pout that stands out
For a very sophisticated, subtle look, opt for dark black eyeliner and a bright lip color. Choose from the wide range of reds, pinks, coral reds. A sleek ponytail goes very well with the look. One can accentuate their features and be ready for a dinner or an evening party in minutes.

To mesmerize during the day
For a softer look during the day, one should opt for eye shadows in softer shades and a little blush in coral colors. Peach and pink are the most favored colors when it comes to blushes.  For the lips, tinges of soft pink with gloss are the way to go.  Add lots of mascara to highlight the eyes. With a soft look like this, leave your hair loose in soft big curls/waves and probably twist it around on one side. For those who do not want to flash their tresses, a fish tail braid with a soft makeup look is also a good choice.

Cherry cheeks for day and night!
Bronzed cheeks complement bronze eye shadow more than any other. Add a little black eye shadow on outer corners and adorn it with a little smudged eye liner to win a million hearts. Top it up with lots of mascara to give a dramatic, sizzling look. Opt for a colored lip-gloss in pink, brown or coral to complete the look. Bronze guarantees a scorching, glamorous look. To add to the glamour quotient, one can leave their hair open and flaunt soft waves or curls.
