Riyo Mori, the 20 year young beauty from Japan is Miss Universe 2007. Mori is the 56th winner of the title and received a Mikimoto crown adorned with 800 diamonds and 120 pearls valued at $250,000 , which was presented to her by last year's winner, Zuleyka Rivera of Puerto Rico. The event, held in Mexico City's National Auditorium was witnessed by a live audience of 10,000 and more than 600 million television viewers worldwide. Mori,a ballet dancer from a village near Mount Fuji,has fulfilled the prediction of her grandmother, who told her as a child that she would be the Beauty Queen one day.
