Simon Webbe Ignites GAS… in Delhi!

New Delhi was abuzz with sensuality and essentiality on Saturday evening of June 30th 2007, as five of the country’s leading models unveiled an exclusive preview of GAS finest collection at its gigantic flagship store in Cannaught Place, New Delhi. The presence of the sexy lad with a perfect combo of choreographer and fashion designer, Britain’s pop sensation Simon Webbe as the chief guest made the event all the more glamorous and suave. Well I must say, Delhi gals held their hearts then with a buzz.

The famous Italian brand GAS has opened up a showroom in Cannaught Place on 12th of April followed by their flagship stores in Mumbai at Warden Road. The event began with an introduction of Simon Webbe. Later on after a warm salute to all the media, the ramp show began, models from across the globe were sporting GAS apparel and walking around as music from Simon’s latest album was playing in the background. A final pose with all the models, before the singer did some shopping for himself. But that wasn’t enough for the lad… for a pose on the ramp, Simon thought to wear a GAS top so as to promote the brand a little more, and when handed one, without hesitation, he took off his shirt for all the ladies to see! Well Salman… I guess you too have a fan following outside this country! What say?

The theme of the collection is the elegant, versatile and international look by GAS. An exciting range of apparels introduced both for the men & women folk, including jackets and blazers in light cottons, linens and leather for men and denims in a wide range of washes, styles and shades were showcased along with stylish accessories that gave a complete lifestyle and urbanized looks.  The collection was refined by Italian passion and detailing was personified through seasoned ramp models such as Sapna Kumar, Neha Ahuja, Aryan Baruha accompanied two Italians, who stylishly showcased the key pieces with panache.
