In a glittering ceremony, Iconic Brand, Nakshatra Diamond unveiled its new logo at a press meet held at the Taj Lands End, Mumbai, where Katrina Kaif, the brand ambassador of Nakshatra did the honors. 

The new logo, with a refreshing and vibrant green background, stands out and is in synergy with a brand that has evolved to become one of the most well respected and well recognized brands not only in India but also the world.

Nakshatra which means a “constellation of stars”, has been instrumental in creating an exquisite range of diamond jewellery, recreating the mystery and brilliance of one of the most exotic creations in the universe, the stars. The brand has redefined the way Indian consumers have looked at and appreciated diamond jewellery.

“The change in logo with this vibrant green is an extension to celebrate Nakshatra’s relationship with its consumers. Green is a colour that is vibrant and fresh. It is the colour of life, the centre colour of the spectrum and represents growth and balance. In order to combat the growing menace of global warming, Nakshatra and the Gitanjali Group are supporting the cause of a Green Earth, hence the strong association between the new logo and Nakshatra,” said Ms. Shardah Uniyal, General Manager - Marketing, Gitanjali Group.

Commenting on the occasion, Katrina Kaif said, “Global warming is becoming a very serious issue which is crippling the world and as individuals and responsible organization it is our responsibility that we make a conscious effort to deal with it in our own little way and make the world a better place to live.“

The splendid afternoon saw an extravagant fashion show wherein the models sashayed the ramp with Nkashatra jewelery wearing creations by designer Wendell Rodricks and Swapnil Shinde.
