Aza unveils its second outlet in New Delhi

Aza, the high-end couture multi designer outlet opened the second flagship store in the heart of the city. This took the total number of stores in the country to 4.  The store is 5000 sq. ft situated at one of the prime locations of Delhi, South Extension part 1.

The launch was a star studded affair over an evening of Champagne along with a fabulous fashion show by India’s celebrated designers such as Rohit Bal, Sabyasachi Mukherji, Suneet Varma, Varun Bahl, Manish Arora, Manish Malhotra, Anamika Khanna, Neeta Lulla amongst others. 

Acclaimed bollywood actress Sameera Reddy walked the ramp in a Neeta Lulla creation along with top Indian super models like Sonalika Sahay, Indrani Das Gupta to name a few. The who’s who of Mumbai & Delhi fashion circuit including Anju Taraporewala, Ramona Rodella, Neeta Lulla, Narendra Kumar Ahmed, Ravi Bajaj, Varun Bahl, Manish Arora, Namrata Joshipura, Gaurav Gupta, Ayesha Thapar, Amol Vadhera, Sunil Sethi, Leena Singh, Tanisha Mohan, Charu Parashar, Pankaj and Nidhi Ahuja were present at the do.

Launched in 2005 by Dr. Alka Nishar, Aza Fashions Private Limited, is one of the most well-established, high-end couture, multi-designer store in the country. Aza is a veritable museum of India’s best design czars that at any given time showcase a plethora of selections highlighting some of India’s most well told stories in history and culture through its design and embroidery heritage.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Alka Nishar said,”with this store opening, Aza reaches a new cache of customers who appreciate excellent designs and fashion. Aza focuses very carefully on its merchandising strategy. This is the key to its success. In short 5 years, we have grown to 4 locations and will shortly expand further in the main urban centers of India.”

The store is focused on luxe and offers a wide range of couture, diffusion and prêt collections along with an emphasis on “Occasion-Wear”. As many as 50 of the country’s most highly acclaimed and celebrated designers showcase their work at Aza. The store’s Couture lines include collections by Anamika Khanna, Manish Malhotra, Rohit Bal, Sabyasachi Mukherji and Varun Bahl, to name a few.

Aza’s diffusion and prêt repertoire includes designs from other stalwarts in Indian fashion, including Anand Kabra, Kiran Uttam Ghosh and Rajesh Pratap Singh. The store also has on offer accessories from Malaga, Crimson, Stoffa and others.
