PUMA launches SS ‘13 collection

Leading sports lifestyle brand PUMA introduces a variety of new product styles.

The Lifestyle range takes iconic PUMA products from the brand archive and reinvents them for the modern consumer. With striking colours, lightweight materials and signature silhouettes, PUMA continues to delight its audience with a variety of new offerings and designs across apparel, footwear and accessories, this spring season.

For the performance enthusiast, 2013 signals a pioneering year for PUMA, as the global sports lifestyle brand re-energises its performance positioning through the introduction of a new cross-category performance platform, ‘The Nature of Performance’. This underpins a new creative and marketing campaign, in addition to serving as the inspiration for a collection of innovative new products in the running, training and fitness categories.

PUMA introduces new running and fitness products, such as the BioWeb Elite, a running and training shoe engineered to deliver maximum cushioning and stability. Last season’s favoured light running shoe, FAAS, makes a comeback this season in a fresh avataar. The women fitness range boasts the quintessential PUMA pop colours, sleek fits and lightweight material designed to enhance the fitness fiend’s workout.

The spring/summer selection will also be available on PUMA’s e-shop www.pumashop.in starting in February.

Footwear Key Styles:

The El Rey has never been an ordinary, vulcanized slip-on. It’s been a PUMA icon since day one. And this take is no exception. The El Rey Future takes the rubber-band sneaker icon and kicks it up a few notches. It reinvents the original low-profile version with a higher collar, booty construction, and breathable mesh windows. The band gets an update, too: it criss crosses from side panels to tongue for that signature, laidback style and swagger.

This season, PUMA introduces the BioWeb Elite. It’s a running and training shoe engineered to deliver maximum cushioning and stability. It wraps the foot with an innovative cage design and delivers a fresh new look in performance. PUMA BioWeb provides the support and freedom you need.

Accessories Key Styles:

Skateboard styling meets the demands of the everyday commute in the PUMA Blaze Backpack. It was specially designed for durability and functionality on the go, with its convenient roll down top, side ‘stash’ pockets, and Velcro closures. The main compartment has a volume expansion function as well as a padded laptop sleeve. Padded ergonomic shoulder straps have air mesh backsides for breathability and increased comfort. An adjustable sternum strap helps stabilize heavy loading. It’s lightweight and simple. It’s mobile and made to carry your world to and fro and back again.

Apparel Key Styles:

Don’t be fooled by its good looks, the CR Graphic Logo S/S Tee has plenty of technical oomph to go round. It features cool CELL to wick away moisture, and ventilation at critical heat zones for improved air circulation. Reflectives help enhance visibility in low light conditions.
