LEE does as well as fashion, it’s innovation. A pioneer in many an apparel novelties, Lee now goes a step further, with design of a different kind the ‘e-Create’ range.  Part of the brands  AW’13 collection the ‘e-Create’ range is a line of clothing that doesn’t just look good on you, but also makes the world around you look good.
Envisioned with sustainability as the main philosophy, the ‘e-Create’ range was made by conserving natural resources, maximizing reuse and reducing toxic substances. Featuring ‘Aqualite’ made with much less water than usual. ‘Ecouture’, which is made from organic cotton and ‘Re style’ made from recycled polyester post consumer waste; this array of sophisticated, hip clothing is as good to our planet as it is to wear and look at.

Lee also introduced a pioneering denim collection made from recycled PET bottles as the next episode in its sustainable design plan, incorporating post-consumer waste, purposely recycled PET bottles. The collection is available for both men and women as part of the Autumn Winter Collection. It consists of an innovative finishing method designed to reduce the use of water in the finishing process for various styles.
By Using recycled content, it helps diminish environmental impacts across the board as compared with using virgin materials for manufacture.

To further enhance the collection Lee, has also invited artists to re-craft, re-fashion or re-design  innovative items using old denims. Denim lovers were in for the Lee’s Denim Studio Contest where they caught a chance to create a work of art or fashion from old denim. The participants made use of accessories, embellishments or any other art work to make the pieces truly interesting.
