About Designers Ankur & Sonia Sen: Both creative heads perceive design sense beyond clothing and have been draping Indian and Western beauties since 2001 as assistant designers for eminent designers. 

The ladder towards supremacy was fast driven towards styling for movies, international fashion boutiques. An opportunity of lifetime came to launch their own clothing label in 2009 and emerging big was just the next step.

Ankur & Sonia worked with eminent designers and well known brand names like Satyapaul, La afaire etc. Assisted styling for Bollywood flicks AKS, TUM BIN. He has worked on silhouette, experimentations, intrinsic texturisation, conceptual designing and pleating, knotting, chatai techniques. Ankur has worked with elite socialites and overseas buyers looking for the finest, purest qualities with classic embroidery techniques and Indian motifs. Ankur & Sonia with great experience launched their own brand Charas few years back.

They have been able to promote the art and style of inspiring regions of world such as North Africa, Rural West Brazil where artists work to create visualising beautiful three dimensional motifs taking natural flora, fauna motifs on bamboos. They also love Egyptian culture where the seductive factor of each women inspires them to visualise silhouettes which magically transforms the same stylised look in every woman carrying off ‘Charas’.

Ankur & Sonia made a great team here and presented collections with finest of embroidered collections with zardosi challa work and Swarovski on zari weaved khadi fabric. The collection was able to set high standards of finesse and presentation.
