Longines Ambassadress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan unveiled the new Longines Saint Imier Collection

Longines, the famous Swiss watchmaker today celebrated 180 years of its rich heritage of tradition, elegance and sports with the launch of its new collection, The Longines Saint Imier Collection.

The collection was formally launched, at an elegant evening, by Longines Ambassadress of Elegance, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vice President & Head of International Sales, Mr. Charles Villoz at The Taj Palace in the capital.

The event also hit a harmonious note with a charismatic performance by the Shillong Choir. The choir, famous for winning India’s Got Talent season 2 and their recent performance in the opening episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, moved the audience with a medley of choral-style renditions.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Charles Villoz said, “This year Longines celebrates 180 glorious years of watch making expertise and unmatched precision leading to the launch of the new Longines Saint Imier Collection.
