Anita Dongre’s bridal collection is inspired from a mythical Jaipur bride,‘Nayantara’, played by SmitaLasardo in the campaign video. To launch the collection, Anita Dongre Bridal has released this video of the modern Indian bride, one who isn't bursting into tears at the thought of leaving her maternal home, but instead, is having the time of her life on her special day. This depiction breaks away from the baggage burdening the otherwise melancholic versions of Indian weddings, usually projected.

 

The collection, while rich in Anita Dongre’s signature gotapattiwork, raw silks and banarasi brocade, is done in muted pastels. Shot in Jaipur's Amer Fort, the video is a happy addition to your wedding board.
