“Yesterdays new is today's vintage”, SonamParmar brings to you her Autumn/Winter ‘15 collection,‘Oh! So Quaint’ by SonamParmar.The new collection expresses the designer’s creative vision of vintage style and intricate detailing, with an enchanted spirit.
A girl should always dress exquisitely to look extraordinary and SonamParmar’s new collection will make you feel nothing less. Taking inspiration from her work place, all the elements of the collection’s print are a part of her funky yet vintage studio. The art form, decoupageis used in her print comprising of vintage sewing machines with flowers, birdswith jewelry sitting inside wooden carved frames etc.
Each SonamParmar collection tells a unique story, this collection showcases vintage silhouettes incorporated with modern cuts. You will find collars, exaggerated bows anddrapes; a whole lot of gold sequins to add that extra drama to this modern vintage collection.The flowing silhouettes, long gowns with collars, blazers with drapes, concept jackets, dresses with stoles along with dramatic bow tassels and sequined capes will absolutely claim you. Sonam’suse of colour, couture details, sequins and graceful embroideries flutter and flow will make you feel like a complete goddess.
All through the evolution of the collection, the designer has maintained her signature style, blingy gold with a pop of colourand yet created graceful and ethereal silhouettes for that perfect modern vintage story!
About SonamParmar: Born and raised in Pune and trained at the School of Fashion Technology (SOFT) located there, Sonam’s label can best be described as Live-Love-Sparkle. Hailing from a family, who has a business of their own sewing machines and other products important for the garment industry, Sonam grew up with all the necessary information required to make an entire outfit.
Sonam’s signature style has oodles of fresh colours and an eccentric dose of bling. She also strongly believes in magic, fantasy and miracles.
SonamParmar launched the label with her first collection ‘The Enchantress’, in September 2014.
