Aafreen Rachel Vaz bags Miss Supranational 2015 Asia and Oceania title

It was a moment of glory for India when Aafreen Rachel Vaz was placed in the top 10 and won the coveted title of Miss Supranational 2015 Asia and Oceania at Miss Supranational 2015 held in Poland on December 4. Aafreen Rachel Vaz who was crowned 1st runner up at the fbb Femina Miss India 2015 pageant was India’s official entry to the international pageant. It was held at Malopolska Region in Poland. The grand event was organized at the MOSIR (Hall of Sports) in Krynica-Zdrój.
Aafreen was seen competing against 78 contestants from around the world at the 7th edition of the prestigious pageant. She also received a cash prize of USD 1000. Aafreen looked stunningly gorgeous in deep metallic gold gown at her Finale designed by Ace designer Gaviin Miguel. The gown had entwined glass bead detailing and a cut that accentuated her body proportion.
A beaming Aafreen expressed, “It was a privilege to represent India at such a prestigious international pageant and I am honoured to win the title Miss Supranational 2015 Asia and Oceania for my country. I am grateful to Miss India Organization for providing me this opportunity and preparing me in the best possible way for this international pageant. I am also thankful to my parents, friends and all supporters who stood by me throughout my journey during this pageant.”
Miss Paraguay, Stephanie Vasquez Stegman was crowned Miss Supranational 2015 at the grand finale held in Poland. The other winners include, 1st runner up Miss Supranational 2015 - Miss Canada, 2nd runner up Miss Supranational 2015 - Miss Columbia, 3rd runner up Miss Supranational 2015 - Miss Iceland, 4th runner up Miss Supranational 2015 - Miss Mexico. Miss Supranational 2014, Asha Bhat crowned Stephanie Vasquez Stegman as the new Miss Supranational 2015.
Aafreen competed for various other sub-titles at the pageant like Best Body, Miss Elegance, Miss Top Model, Miss Internet, Miss Photogenic, Miss Friendship and Best National Costume.
Aafreen’s victory can rightly be attributed to the support and guidance from the best experts in the fashion and glamour industry. Miss Supranational 2015 was judged by a reputed panel of jury consisting of experts from various countries.
