Schwarzkopf Professional celebrates its 111th year of successful innovation

Schwarzkopf Professional celebrated its completion of 111 successful years of innovation in the hair care industry at an event held at the Henkel corporate office in Teynampet. Joining in for the gala event were, Patrick Kaminski, Vice President Cosmetics and Toiletries, Henkel Asia Pacific and Murali Sundar, Country Head, Schwarzkopf Professional along with Madhu Mohan, Kanya and. Veena Kumaravel, Naturals. C. K Kumaravel of the Naturals Unisex spa and chain of salons was also present in the event.

The event saw a lot of rare visuals that showcased various landmarks in Schwarzkopf Professional’s journey from being a small business enterprise in Berlin to becoming a vast hair care major with a presence in over a 120 countries. The enterprise boasts of a team of highly skilled and sought after hairstylists, who define and reinvent hair fashion trends across the globe.

Schwarzkopf Professional started first Institute of Hair Hygiene in 1927, launched Igora Royal, the 1st most intense colour ever and Vario Blond, the 1st eight level lightener. With many such firsts to its name and startling innovations, Schwarzkopf Professional has managed to stay ahead in fashion, trendsetting magazines and in product offerings to both consumers and hairdressers.
