Moisturiser: College going girls don’t need to cake your skin with foundation for everyday basis.  In winters a tinted moisturiser or a sunscreen is just enough to give the right look to your skin.

Compact: Both college and office goers should use a pressed powder and compact, which sets the moisturiser and keeps it in place longer. It also helps in oil control and keeps the face looking fresh for long. Oily skin beauties must use compacts during winter season.  Office goers, pick a powder bronzer that is no more than one shade darker than your skin tone. Also, it can be easily carried for touch ups during the day.

Flatter your eyes with subtle makeup: If you are working in an office, always use neutral eye makeup during winter season:

• Eyeliner: Office going girls always prefer using black liquid eyeliner, to give a classic touch of glamour in winters. But college-going girls can use liners matching with their dress colours.
• Eye shadow: Office and college goers should apply warm-toned eye shadows; lighter shades work better. Avoid overly dark shades, or cold tones like blues and grays. If you are planning for a night party, then girls can use bright shades.
• Mascara: Mascara gives definition and a fresh awake look to the eyes. Fluorescent lighting found in most offices shows every detail of makeup; so natural eye makeup looks the most flattering. Office goers can use a deep plum or navy shade of mascara and it will add a subtle hint of colour. College goers should always use black mascara to give a sober look.

Peachy lips: For college wear, just a tint of colour is enough. Tinted lip balms or lip-gloss gives a hint of colour with a bit of shine and gloss, to keep the look fresh. For office wear give yourself a full lip-line but utilise softer colours with your natural lip, else you can choose a light shade of lipstick. When a darker colour or a luxurious red lip is required, go with a matte finish or a close second.

Blush: Blush is a key item to the winter makeup look. It really gives some color to your sukin and wakes up your whole face. Office goers can add colour on their cheeks with a warm blush. It needs to be a rose or apricot coloured blush. If you have a cool-tone look, use pink; for a warm tone, it can be peach, warm sand, or terracotta. College girls should avoid using blush because the skin is sensitive and can prone to pimples and rashes.

Textured nails: It is universally understood that bright crazy nails should never be paired with a high profile job.
