Casio introduces Motion Sensitive Runners Watch for athletes

Casio India Co. Pvt. Ltd., 100% subsidiary of the 6 Billion (US $), consumer electronics giant Casio Computer Co. Japan, unveiled the Motion Sensor Runners Watch for Athletes. This high technology based motion sensitive watch helps calculate the calorie burnt while running or walking. Some of the unique features of the watch are running measurement, world timer, workout data and motion sensors.

This watch is equipped with motion sensors and a calculator to measure the total distance, energy consumption (total calorie burnt) and number of steps to be run or walk.The Stopwatch and Countdown timer displays the total elapsed time, lap data (best lap), average lap time and average pace.

The storage system can recall information stored on a one month’s basis as well as the cumulative data (distance and energy consumption). These features of the watch are most accurate when worn on the left hand.

Another aspect of the watch is that the runner can fix his own target in respect to distance to be covered, amount of calorie to be burnt and elapsed time. This target can be also switched with a timer as per user preference.

The Runners Watch adaptability is proved by its ability to adjust usage with unit switching (for energy consumption, weight, and stride length) feature along with the stopwatch and countdown timer. The watch further features full auto-calendar up to 2099, along with time format of 12/24 hour.

The timer displays World time of 31 time zones (48 cities + coordinated universal time). Besides, the watch is configured in form of city code display, and daylight saving on/off. The electro-luminescent backlight shines in the night.
