ALCATEL ICE 3 WINS FIEO ‘MOST IMPRESSIVE RADIATION FREE HANDSET’ AWARD

Alcatel Ice 3, one of the popular handset brands, was awarded the prestigious “Most Impressive Radiation Free Handset” by FIEO today. Shri Rahul Khullar, IAS, Commerce, Secretary, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India presented the coveted award to Mr. M. S. Malik, Managing Director ICE MOBILE NETWORK SYSTEM PVT LTD and Mr. Praveen. Valecha, Country Manager, India & SAARC - TCT Mobile International Ltd (Alcatel one Touch).

The Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) represents the Indian entrepreneurs’ spirit of enterprise in the global market. Known popularly as "FIEO", this apex body of the Indian export promotion organizations was set up jointly by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India and private trade and industry in the year 1965. FIEO, an ISO 9001: 2008, is a partner of the Government of India in promoting India’s exports.

Spearheaded by Mr. M.S. Malik, Managing Director, Ice Mobile Network System Pvt. Ltd is co-branded between Alcatel One Touch and Ice 3 Brands. Speaking on this occasion stated Mr. Malik, “Today, there is growing public concern about adverse health effects due to EMF radiation. In the human body due to the close proximity of a mobile phone to the head, the head is the targeted recipient of the electro-magnetic energy from many wireless systems whose impulses are transmitted to other organs and parts, causing serious health hazards and it is important to safeguard against that.”
