
A day long exhibition with the motive to introduce the Brazilian art to the Indian audience was held at Indian Habitat centre on June 6. This twosome awesome event showcased the art work of two Brazilian artists, Regina Silveira and Arthur Luiz Piza. While Regina Silveira introduced one of the contemporary trends in brazilian contemporary art, Luiz Pizza explored engraving with beauty and elegance along with post-surrealist figuration.
The exhibition depicts the various and multidiverse aspects of brazilian culture. As one watches the exhibition, one can learn that the Brazilian culture is a watercolouring culture. In relation to this festival ‘Paulo Marcos De Moraes’ the cultural counsellor of the Embassy of Brazil said ‘we will be showing to the Indian and Brazilian public how far both our cultures can go in watercolouring a multipolar, multidiverse and tolerant new world. The event was a part of the nine days long festival which began on June 4 and will end on June 12.
