Synonymous to skillful artistry and vintage luxury, one of India’s most celebrated couturiers AnjuModi launched her flagship store at the swanky neighborhood of Defence Colony on Wednesday, 22nd July 2015.

The launch was celebrated over an evening of champagne and Hors d'Oeuvres, with some of AnjuModi's close family and friends. In attendance were also members from the fashion fraternity like RohitBal, Sunil Sethi, PoonamBhagat, ReynuTandon, Rohit Gandhi, Rahul Khanna, Sanjay and MohiniGuleria, along with some friends of the designer,Shujaat and Praveen Khan, AmbikaPillai, GautamKalra, who came together to show solidarity to the veteran designer  as she launched her flagship store.

Speaking on the launch, AnjuModi said, "It's always exciting to work on new projects and reach new clients, and that has been the attempt with this store. My flagship store has been created keeping in mind my design ethos and is an extension of the label's style and aesthetics. Every element and detail on the store has been created and designed with a lot of thought and deliberation, and I look forward to connecting with a wider audience and my discerning customers through this space at the new "Couture Street",Defence Colony. 

The AnjuModi flagship store is a culmination of the designer's ideologies and inspirations that are rooted deep in the Indian culture. Conceptualised by the designer with the talented duo, NidhiAggarwal&JaisikaNagpal of Studio Incept & Design Staple (who have also designed AnjuModi’s store in DLF Emporio), the nuanced details of the store from the weathered stone at the entrance, indigo walls, floor tiles and screens with gold foiled motifs are design elements and inspirations from AnjuModi’s travels within the country and architectural design references from the India’s rich history.

The label will retail the bridal and trousseau pieces, ready to wear,pret lines and menswearat the flagship store.
