A testament to the commercial success of the label is the recent association with Amazon.com, whereby they will be retailing an exclusive lounge-wear collection under the Hemant&Nandita brand name, making them the first Indian women’s wear designer label to do so. The line, which is presently available on the website, has been designed to provide comfort in classic silhouettes, such as terry-backed crewneck pullovers, drawstring shorts and straight-fit sweat pants. Besides being effortlessly contemporary, these ensembles are meticulously crafted with unique and vibrant jewel embellishments for an enriched panache.
Marking another milestone, the Hemant&Nandita label is set to launch a cruise / resort collection at the luxury specialty storeNeiman Marcus this September. A range of bohemian maxis, tunics and short dresses in eclectic and unique prints developed by the designers, will be retailed at various Neiman Marcus stores, as well as the e-commerce division, NeimanMarcus.com. The pronounced designs have been created keeping in mind the Neiman Marcus customer for a universal appeal and to showcase an aesthetic that reflects International trends while being steeped in Indian design ethos.
