Varun Bahl in collaboration with Raymond launches jacketing fabric collection

Varun Bahl, the ace couturier created an exclusive collection for Raymond using the ‘Raymond jacketing fabrics’. This suave collection features extensive detailing on exotic fabrics such as tweed, and pure cashmere. The entire collection featured about thirty looks for menswear and around four couture pieces for womenswear.

The launch was organised at the Lalit Hotel, Chandigarh with another eminent designer Sahil Aneja also showcasing his designs for the show. Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor looked suave as he walked down the ramp as the showstopper. The event was attended by well-known fashion and other eminent personalities from the industry.

Speaking about this special collaboration during the launch, Varun Bahl said, “Raymond is a brand that has long been synonymous with luxe quality fabrics. The collection I have designed for Raymond’s show is for today’s fashionable and contemporary man, it has extensive intricacies. I have incorporated various textures, bold checks and colors on exotic fabrics, lending the look a very vintage yet contemporary feel. The Jacketing fabrics are diverse in selection as well as trendy and versatile, making them an absolute delight to work with. “

Speaking about this latest offering during the launch, Sanjay Behl, Chief Executive Officer, Raymond Limited said, “Our new jacketing range is unique and significantly superior in terms of product quality and design innovation incorporating latest international trends in fashion and lifestyle segment. This new wide jacketing range from Raymond will not only delight the core jacket uses but also help us expand the market, especially in North India where there is already a tremendous uptake for tweed jackets.
