Kays Jewels presents Ambe Ambalike collection at IIJW 2012

Kay’s added glitz and glamour on the ramp at the ‘India International Jewellery Week 2012’, with an exquisite new style of jewellery called the ‘Ambe Ambalike’ collection. Presenting a stunning collection of traditional jewellery that revealed the rich heritage of India, the show was a vision of glory that paid ode to the undying essence and beauty of womanhood.

The show featured an array of opulent glittering necklaces, earrings, bangles in an eclectic mix of gold, rubies, diamonds, emeralds, jadao and kundan in varying shapes and craftsmanship. The show stopper of the evening Juhi Chawla, confidently took the walk down the ramp, wearing a necklace dazzling with diamonds and studded with a giant emerald stone.

With years of experience backing Kays, the show at the IIJW 2012 displayed a high degree of perfection. Knowing the ultimate secrets of jewels, the collection aimed at antique gold, pearls, diamonds, meenakari work and kundan in all their glory were transformed into a svelte line of raani haars, kadas, magnificent earring, necklaces and pendants. Oversized kundan collars extended over shoulders, while the antique gold finish gave the ornaments a traditional timeless look. The Ambe Ambalike collection, displayed a palette of colours and fan of a peacock in various designs and styles.

The opulence of the jewels were rekindled in the form of lavish bijoux with inverted peacock diamond necklaces that snaked down the bodice carved with sapphires and semi precious stones as centres for earrings and necklaces. An antique gold heritage pendant carved with the diety of lord Shiva and Parvati with a wide pearl mesh gold chain showed the versatility of Kays designing skills.
