With the wedding season here again, Designer Rinku Sobti is all set with her latest line of ‘Wedding Collection’, which promises to take the traditional Indian bridal wear to another level

The collection comprises of exquisite gowns, lehengas & sarees featuring a great deal of textured & various elements of hand embroidery work. Incorporating the use of velvet, silk, woven fabrics the collection is dominated by green, red, blue, gold & pale pink hues.

“My latest collection is inspired by contemporary romance reflecting sweet love saga, purity, elegance & dreams of new woman of today,” said the designer commenting on her collection.

“To some extent brides are going back to their roots & want more traditional look with modern cuts & that’s what my collection offers- ethnicity with a modern cosmopolitan flavour,”she added.

Amongst her line of wedding collection, the Red silk lehenga is truly a steal. The hand woven fourteen kali regal silk bottom with smoldering red velvet choli accompanied with heavy dupatta gives the attire a very romantic, royal & contemporary touch. The gown is emblazoned with interesting interplay of lazar work combined with various other elements of hand work.

The label also provides custom designing whereby the brides can actually choose the look, cut and embroidery to their taste and time line.
